ROUSHAM

Around the time of the 2016 referendum, I discovered Rousham, this magical masterpiece of English landscape gardening by William Kent.

This most beautiful of gardens performed a consoling trick, poetically telling me stories, explaining about boundary, property, control, capital, representation, empire and loss of empire. I took photos during my many walks there. These are some of them.
