  1. ActionAid would like to thank Bruno for his time and energy putting on the gig for our East Africa Drought Appeal.
We would also like to thank everyone who came and supported the event, without such help we could not respond to such a devastating drought.

ActionAid already works in many of the countries affected by the drought, although fortunately the areas where we work in Ethiopia, Somaliland and Uganda are not badly affected so we are not currently undertaking humanitarian response there.

However in Kenya, ActionAid is working in many of the worst-affected areas. We have been responding to the crisis for several months, helping 220,000 people in Kenya and Somaliland with emergency food supplies, water and livelihoods support. But we urgently need to raise further funds to continue to help the most vulnerable people throughout the region with immediate relief and focus on long-term recovery.

Thank you again for your support, it really does make a difference.
